Morgan E. Tuss
Representing Clients in a Range of Cases
Morgan Elizabeth Tuss practices in the areas of estate administration, probate administration, trust administration, estate planning, trust planning, gift and estate tax planning, along with business/corporate, contract, property and various transactional matters. Morgan also assists with business disputes, guardianship and conservatorship, adoption matters, and premarital (prenup) agreements.
Morgan received her Juris Doctorate from the University of North Dakota School of Law in December 2020, ranking as fourth in her class. Morgan was inducted as a member of the esteemed Order of the Coif. In the fall of 2024, Morgan completed her Dual Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Tax Law and Estate Planning from Golden Gate University School of Law and Bruce F. Braden School of Taxation.
Representing County Ward 7, Morgan also serves as a Board Member of the Board of County Commissioners of Yellowstone County for the Board of Planning, Board of Zoning, and Board of Adjustments. Morgan previously served as a Board Member for Billings TrailNet, a 501(c)(3) non-profit qualified organization and as a Trustee for the New Lawyers Section of the Montana State Bar. Morgan is a part member-manager of a small rental management business.
While attending law school, she was the president of the law school’s Student Bar Association (SBA) during her second year in addition to being a student representative of SBA for her first and third years. She also participated in the school’s trial team program, in extracurricular mock trial team through her membership with Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity, and as a member of the Minnesota Innocence Project.
Morgan holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication Arts and an Associate of Arts degree in Applied Psychology from Montana State University Billings.
Morgan is a fifth generation Montanan, born and raised in Billings, taking deep pride in the Tuss Family’s Montana heritage as the state’s preeminent stone masons and as momentous farmers, ranchers, miners, architects, engineers and healthcare workers. Morgan’s husband is a fourth generation Montanan, growing up in Denton on the prominent Edwards Ranch.
